Beyond the next marina.
Multi-week legs make routes possible that simply do not fit into a classic charter week.
More time on the water. More places you actually get to know. Sailing Sabbatical is a break that does not end after seven days.
This is not a classic charter week with ten stops in seven days. A Sailing Sabbatical gives a region time: for weather windows, spontaneous anchorages, longer passages, islands off the standard route and days when nothing needs to happen.

Multi-week legs make routes possible that simply do not fit into a classic charter week.
We plan with buffer. Safety and good conditions beat an artificial daily schedule.
“Not seeing as much as possible. Taking more from what stays with you.”

Cooking, anchoring, sailing, swimming, going ashore and long evenings on deck matter just as much as the miles.
The first route is intentionally flexible. Longer sabbatical legs are planned from the Mediterranean via the Canary Islands toward the Caribbean.

A day can simply be swimming, cooking, reading and a short sail to the next bay.
More time aboard allows legs where the journey itself becomes part of the experience.
A maximum of six guests. More personal, calmer and with more room aboard.
The route stays adaptable to weather, crew and the best places – without the pressure of a rigid weekly turnover.
Reik and Basti accompany the trips as the skipper team. The focus is safe sailing, a relaxed atmosphere and making the boat feel like a shared home quickly.
Mostly multi-week legs are planned. Depending on the region, individual blocks may last around three to six weeks.
No. Interest in life aboard and openness to the rhythm of a sailing boat matter more. Anyone who wants to can take an active part in sailing.
We plan for a regular maximum of six guests plus the skipper team, leaving three guest cabins available.
For regular remote work, our sister experience Sailing Workation is designed around fixed work windows and the right setup.
Then Sailing Workation is your rhythm: work in the morning, sail in the afternoon, arrive in the evening.
